Request for Information (RFI)

Purpose

A request for information, or RFI, is an important part of any disputed transaction. The request gives you the chance to 'give your side of the story' to the bank or card issuer.

Use

It is important that you provide as much information as possible when you receive a RFI, but do not include irrelevant or frivolous information.

Why do disputes arise?

Proof you can provide regarding payment and delivery

We provide a special window called the Information Request window in the Disputes Management part of the system to help you give the information the bank or card issuer needs.

You can receive a request for information for many reasons.
