Browser Settings

This section includes information on printing background colors, page versions, and pop-up blockers.

Enabling Background Color Printing

Internet Explorer does not print background images or colors by default. As a result, the gray lines within the Reports will not show up when the pages are printed.

To enable the gray lines in printed documents:

  1. Click Tools/Internet Options on the Internet Explorer file menu.

  2. Click on the Advanced tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Printing section.

  4. Check the box that enables background color printing.

Page Version Checking

We recommend setting Internet Explorer to check for newer versions of stored pages every time you visit a page.

To change this setting:

  1. Click Tools/Internet Options on the Internet Explorer file menu.

  2. Click Settings under the Temporary Internet Files section.

  3. Select Every time you visit page.

  4. Do not refresh the pages in the WebGUI; use the menus to navigate.

Pop-Up Blocker

Do not block pop-ups. For some screens to function, it is necessary for this to be disabled.
