Cancel Auth
The Cancel Auth. button brings up the same page as the Cancel Auth option in the Operations menu. This button is only available if the transaction is in Authorized status.
This operation is used to cancel an authorized transaction in order to prevent the authorization from being captured for settlement. It changes the transaction status in Paymetric Gateway (XiPay) to Void (status 500) to keep it from being settled, however; it does guarantee the reserved funds will be released.
Reserved Funds
The reserved funds are not released until the authorization horizon expires. For more information, see Cancel Authorization (A.K.A. Void).
