Review risk results

Use the Payment and Order Details pop-up box to review risk results in the Merchant Interface.

To view payment status details:

1.       Login to the Merchant Interface using your username and password.

2.       Select the Payments option from the left-hand menu. The Payments page opens displaying details of your payments for the selected merchant code. (Note if you have more than one account, and have not yet selected a merchant code, you will be asked to do so before accessing this page.)

3.       If an alert has been issued by the Risk Management Module, a Warning or Caution is displayed in the Risk field. Scroll through the payment list to find payments with a Warning or Caution alert held against them.

4.       If a Warning or Caution is found, carry out procedures to check that the payment is genuine. This may involve, for example, checking the Shopper IP address, country and card issuer country or checking the shopper's email and phone number.

5.       To  access further details about a particular payment and locate full risk details, select the Amount hypertext link for that payment. This opens the Payment and Order Details pop-up box.

6.       Order, payment and risk details are available in this page. The Risk Details section of the pop-up box displays the risk results from the Risk Management Module and AVS/CVC results reported by the card issuer.

7.       Make a decision about whether to proceed with the order or not. If you decide not to proceed, you should inform the shopper.

8.       Close the Payment and Order Details pop-up box by selecting the close icon in the top right-hand corner of the box. The Payments Page is displayed.
