Cancel an Agreement

If you need to find an agreement ID for the customer, click here.

1.       Enter the Agreement ID and click the View Agreement button. The agreement will be displayed in the View Agreement Page.

2.       Move to the Cancel this agreement row and click Cancel.

3.       You will be ask to confirm the cancellation. If you are sure you want to cancel, select the Yes button. If not, click Go back to agreement.

If successful, a green banner appears at the top of the page telling you that the agreement has been cancelled. If not, a red banner shows the reason why the attempt failed.

When an agreement is cancelled, emails are automatically sent informing both you and your customer about the cancellation. A record is also kept in the agreement's audit history.

Important Information about Withdrawn Authorisation:

You or the customer may notify us of cancellation of a FuturePay agreement, using the WorldPay system, up until the end of the business day before the next payment is due to be made. A customer may also cancel the FuturePay agreement by directly informing you and when this occurs, it is your responsibility to let us know of such cancellation before the next payment.

You must not allow a FuturePay transaction to collect payment when a cardholder has withdrawn authorisation for that transaction. Authorisation is withdrawn when the customer requests that the FuturePay agreement is cancelled.

If you fail to cancel the FuturePay agreement and allow a payment to be processed, then the transaction in question will be unauthorised. It may be subject to chargeback in accordance with the terms of your WorldPay account agreement.
