void

The void element is the parent element for all Void transactions. You can use this element only in Online transactions. If you use this Recycling Engine, you can use the void transaction to halt the recycling of a sale transaction.

Before submitting a Void, please allow a minimum of 60 seconds to elapse after submitting the transaction you wish to void. This timing ensures our system fully records the first (to be voided) transaction in our database. Also, you cannot use Void transactions to void a Prime Single-Message transaction. Attempting this results in a Response Code of 362 - Transaction Not Voided - Already Settled. If you coded to schema V11 or above, verify the Approved status of credit transaction by reviewing the Decline transaction report.
