Integration overview

This section explains the various aspects and limitations that you must know before you integrate POLi as a payment method.

Timeout

The shopper has 20 minutes from the point he or she lands on the POLi payment pages to the point when he or she selects a bank. If shoppers take more than 20 minutes to do this, an exception message appears. After 20 minutes, shoppers can no longer complete the payment and must start again.

Recipient

Consider making your shoppers aware that:

The bank’s transaction reference and the POLi transaction ID appears on shoppers’ bank statements
Worldpay or Envoy Services appears when they are refunded
POLi AU - The shopper pays WorldPay AP on the confirmation page
POLi NZ - The shopper pays Envoy Services NZ on the confirmation page

If you make your shoppers aware of this information, you may reduce shopper abandonment.

POLi AU and NZ support English only.
