The <payment> element

The <payment> element specifies the payment details for the order at the time the system creates or regenerates the Transfer Report.

The information includes the payment method used, the original order amount, and the last payment status change (event) that occurred.

Within the <payment> element the <balance> elements show the resulting balance after all payment events for the order at the time the system creates or regenerates the Transfer Report.
