If you are opening a new PayPal Account, once you have your account opened, send us the primary email address of the PayPal account and the currencies you'll use.

Exclusions

You can use PayPal to take most Worldpay payments, but there are some payment types and situations that you can't use with PayPal:

  • Virtual Terminal payments (formerly called MOTO - Mail Order Telephone Order payments).
  • Settlement currencies other than the currencies offered by Worldpay. Funds from your shoppers are called settlement funds. If you want to receive these funds in a currency other than currencies offered by Worldpay, then you can't use the Worldpay PayPal integration.

Costs

Worldpay doesn't charge for processing PayPal transactions but standard PayPal transaction fees apply. These vary depending on the type of business - please refer to the charges information on PayPal’s website for more information.

We do charge a standard gateway click fee (pence per click) and an additional charge if you use a Worldpay risk product, such as the Worldpay Risk Management Module (RMM) or the Worldpay Risk Guardian (RG).
