SAP Receivables and Analytics (PCMA)

Payment card processing in the SAP® R/3 ECC system offers you a wide range of functions in Sales and Distribution, Retail point-of-sale, Financial Accounting, and Internet commerce. It contains the basic tools you need to handle payment cards in a variety of business environments.

Paymetric facilitates obtaining an authorization, for the amount that SAP determines, and sending the settlement batch to the processor, but everything beyond that (deliveries, billing, invoicing, posting to accounting, BAPIS, CRM replication, etc.) is all standard SAP functionality. Most of this is beyond the control of Paymetric products and could possibly require consulting assistance.

Any SAP user exit code examples that are suggested are offered as a value-add to share our knowledge and experience to assist in your customization efforts; however, these are not part of our product.

SAP Help provides a great deal of information on the payment card processing workflow with SAP and is highly recommended. If the SAP link does not work, navigate through SAP help to SAP ERP > SAP ERP Central Component > Logistics > Sales and Distribution > Payment Card Processing. Many SAP OSS notes are also applicable to payment card processing; especially Authorization FAQ - OSS Note 914811.
