Oracle
The Oracle Payments Servlet facilitates credit card authorization and settlements through your chosen Payment Processor using tokens in place of raw card numbers. The diagram below illustrates an overview of the solution in which:
-
The various Oracle EBS modules that use credit card numbers communicate directly to Paymetric's Intercept solution to obtain tokens.
-
Tokens are used through-out the Oracle environment in place of credit card numbers.
-
Tokens are used when communicating with XiPay for authorization and settlement processing.
The servlet replaces the Create CC Card button with a Create Token button in the various supported Oracle EBS modules.
Based on your chosen payment processor, data mappings are performed during integration to ensure the necessary fields are sent for authorization and settlement based on the payment features and functionality you have implemented.
For settlement, XiPay batches all transactions submitted from Oracle by date/time at 3:00am, 11:00am and 8:00pm Central Time. These batches are then submitted to the Processor at the next scheduled run-time; see Settlement Schedules for the submission times per processor. The XiPay WebGUI offers various reports to view your transactions.
