Shopper journey

The shopper journey is the process that the shopper follows once they decide to use the Konbini and Pay-easy payment method to make the online payment.

To make a payment with Konbini and Pay-easy:

  1. The shopper selects products and/or services on your website and places the order.

  2. On the payment selection page, the shopper selects the Konbini and Pay-easy payment method.

  3. On the payment details page, the shopper enters their family name and telephone number.

  4. An optional thank you page appears, otherwise the shopper is redirected, see step 5 below.

  5. The shopper is redirected to the Konbini and Pay-easy payment pages.

  6. On the Konbini and Pay-easy payment pages, the shopper chooses the payment type that they wish to use and follows the on-screen options.

  7. The shopper does not return on the pendingURL or successURL to your website; the shopper remains on the Konbini and Pay-easy payment pages.

The following sections describe the shopper's journey using the different payment types in more detail.

Note:  The screenshots of the Konbini and Pay-easy service are correct as of July 2013. The PSP may change the design of these screens, or replace them entirely at any time.

Pay at a convenience store (Konbini)

To make a payment at a convenience store (Konbini):

  1. On the Konbini and Pay-easy payment pages, the shopper chooses to pay at a convenience store.

  2. The shopper views a unique payment reference, along with instructions on how to complete the payment.

  3. The shopper makes a note of the unique payment reference and visits their local convenience store.

  4. At the convenience store, the shopper inputs their unique payment reference and phone number into a kiosk.

  5. The terminal prints a payment slip which the shopper takes to the store till and pays in cash.

Pay at an ATM (Pay-easy)

To make a payment at an ATM:

  1. On the Konbini and Pay-easy payment pages, the shopper chooses to pay at an ATM.

  2. The shopper views a unique payment reference, along with instructions on how to complete the payment.

  3. The shopper completes the payment at an ATM which is part of the Pay-easy scheme.

Pay using internet banking (Pay-easy)

To make a payment using internet banking:

  1. On the Konbini and Pay-easy payment pages, the shopper chooses to pay using internet banking.

  2. The shopper views a unique payment reference, along with instructions on how to complete the payment.

  3. The shopper completes the payment by logging into an online banking application which is part of the Pay-easy scheme.
