Real-time non-hybrid APM processing

Non-hybrid payment methods do not require any direct interaction between the shopper and the PSP or financial institution. All activity is self-contained within your website or the Worldpay payment pages.

For example, for a pre-pay voucher method, where the shopper has a unique code representing a monetary value, the shopper can do one of the following:

In the direct model, type the code on your website

In the redirect model, type the code on the Worldpay payment pages

Payments that are made using real-time non-hybrid APMs are authorised immediately during the shopper payment journey.

The PSP receives the payment request, validates the data, and completes the payment without any additional shopper interaction. If the payment is successful, the payment status changes from SHOPPER_REDIRECTED to AUTHORISED. The shopper is then redirected to the success URL.
