For the shopper to use the pre-payment for another order, the shopper selects the Przelewy24 payment method and chooses ‘Use the prepayment’ option, from the Przelewy24 payment page. Integration considerations
It is important that merchants consider the following information when integrating with Przelewy24, in addition to the general integration recommendations provided in the Overview of Alternative Payment Methods section and XML Direct and Redirect Integration Models topic.
Payment options
Remember that Przelewy24 offer several payment options on their payment page. Merchants must decide if these payment options are suitable for any of the goods or services that they provide.
If merchants keep the offline bank transfer option, we recommend that merchants advise their shoppers to make the exact payment for the order. An exact payment amount prevents problems with transaction completion.
Time out
The shopper has 15 minutes to complete their payment from the moment they land on the Przelewy24 payment page. This 15 minutes includes the time to choose their bank and re-directing to their bank to complete the payment.
For the offline payment option the shopper has 15 minutes to choose the offline option on the Przelewy24 payment page and print out the bank transfer instructions.
We advise merchants to inform their shoppers to make the payment immediately; quick payment avoids any problems with time-out values.
Recipient
We recommend that merchants make their shoppers aware that:
-
DialCom24 Sp. z o.o. appears as the payment recipient on the Przelewy24 payment pages, this is because the shopper pays into a Przelewy24 bank account.
-
DIALCOM24 SP. Z O.O. appears as the payment recipient on the shopper’s bank account statement.
-
DIALCOM24 SP. Z O.O. appears as the payer for refunds on the shopper’s bank account statement.
Making shoppers aware of the recipient’s name may reduce shopper abandonment, shopper queries and disputes.
Payment traceability
At present, Przelewy24 shows only its own transaction number to the shopper on its payment pages, this transaction number also appears on the shopper’s bank account statement.
Przelewy24’s transaction number does not appear in the merchant interface or in Worldpay’s back office system.
Therefore we recommend that merchants inform shoppers of the merchant’s order code, and ask their shoppers to save this code before they leave the merchants site. This is in case the shopper has any queries regarding the order at a later date. The order code can also be displayed once the shopper returns to the merchant’s site on any of the result URL’s, or in any email notifications.
A setting on the Merchant’s Worldpay account can enable Worldpay to email the shopper the order code once the payment has either been successfully authorised or refused.
