About PayU

PayU is both a real-time and offline bank transfer payment service. It allows shoppers to make payments directly from their bank account.

For online real-time bank transfer purchases, the shopper selects their preferred online bank and logs into their account to confirm the payment. Transactions made during the bank’s working hours will return a real-time authorisation.

For offline bank transfer purchases, the shopper selects ‘Traditional transfer' ('Przelew Tradycyjny’). The shopper prints out the bank transfer instruction form presented on PayU's payment page. They have two options for completing the payment:

  1. The shopper takes the form to their bank

  2. The shopper logs into their online bank account and manually enters the bank transfer details to make the payment

Note:  The shopper must pay the exact amount of the order, otherwise the transactions will not be authorised.

Once the shopper has made payment for the exact amount there will be a delayed authorisation.
