We transfer funds due to you into your bank account on a weekly basis (or in accordance with your agreement with us). The details of the transfer are contained in a Transfer report which is emailed to you from transfers@worldpay.com during the relevant week.
The Transfer report provides a summary of the funds to be transferred to you for the period indicated in the 'Settled Purchases Between' field at the top of the report.
Each Transfer report is given a batch ID, which is a unique number that is displayed near the top of the report and identifies the transfer batch referred to in the report. It is also a way of identifying the relevant transactions within the transfer batch.
You will need this batch ID if you need to communicate with us about a transfer report. You will also need the batch ID when searching for transfer reports held on the system. |
The report includes details of :
Transactions for the period including settled purchases, refunds and chargebacks. The total value of the transactions is displayed in the Gross Transaction Value field
Any charges that have been incurred. Our charges and deductions for services are detailed in the Weekly and Monthly Invoice. The relevant invoice numbers are detailed for easy reference
Any Deposit Corrections made in this transfer
The total value that has been paid into your bank account. This is displayed in the Payment to Merchant Initiated field
Full details are available about the payments that comprise each transfer in the Transfer Batch report. This report is available from the Reports menu in the Merchant Interface. |
If a merchant code has a negative balance then you will still receive a Transfer report for that week notifying you of your current financial position. The negative balance will be reflected in the deposit that we hold for you. You may have a negative balance when there are special debits, chargebacks or refunds on your account.
If a merchant code is suspended for transfer then you will still receive a Transfer report notifying you of your current financial position. A merchant code may be suspended for a number of reasons, for example, if we suspect the account has been the target of fraudulent activity. Any balance for the merchant code (either negative or positive) is transferred to your deposit. This is reflected in your Transfer report as a deposit correction.
If a minimum transfer amount has been set for the merchant code and this amount is not met then you will still receive a Transfer report notifying you of your current financial position. The minimum transfer amount is the least amount Worldpay will send to you at transfer. The default transfer amount is GBP10 (or equivalent for other currencies). Any funds due are added to the next transfer batch and will be received at the next transfer date.
Transfer reports can be accessed from the Reports menu on the Merchant Interface. For full details about this report, refer to the Reports guide.
