Settlement

Settlement is when the banking network pays the funds for a particular transaction to Worldpay. You can see if a payment has been settled to us on the Merchant Interface – it will have the payment status of SETTLED.

Settled funds are automatically credited to your Worldpay account. The funds in your account (after adjustments for fees and other items) are then transferred after the transfer delay (see Transfer Delay for details).

If a payment is at SETTLED status then the amount is net of transaction charges. Any exchange rate calculation required is applied at this status, and any charges associated with the payment are visible in the Merchant Interface, for example, in the Payment and Order Details page and in the Get Statement report.
